How to use these templates
Every template on this page is also in VartaAPI’s own library. Open Templates, press Browse the library, pick one and press Use this: the wording and examples fill the form. Change it to suit your business, add a header or buttons if you like, and submit it to Meta. Once Meta approves it, send it from a campaign, a chatbot flow, the inbox or your own software through the API.

What is a WhatsApp message template?
A message Meta has approved in advance. On the WhatsApp Business API it is the only way to message someone who has not written to you in the last 24 hours. Blanks such as {{1}} are filled with each customer's details when you send it.
Are these templates free?
Yes. Copy the wording, or load any of them into VartaAPI's template form from the library on any plan, including Free. Meta charges for the messages you send, not for templates.
What is the difference between utility and marketing templates?
Utility templates are about something the customer already did or asked for: an order, a payment, an appointment. Marketing templates promote something. In India Meta charges ₹0.115 for a utility message and ₹0.8631 for a marketing one, before GST, and marketing messages should go only to people who agreed to receive them.
Will Meta approve them?
Meta reviews every template and decides. These are written to Meta's guidance (no blank at the start or end, no two blanks side by side, an example for each blank, the right category), which avoids the common reasons for rejection.
