Is VartaAPI an alternative to AiSensy?

Yes, for a business that wants the official WhatsApp Business API with a shared inbox, campaigns and chatbot flows. Both connect your own number to Meta's official API. VartaAPI has a free plan that sends campaigns and charges nothing on top of Meta's message rates; AiSensy has more connections, such as Shopify and a Click-to-WhatsApp ads manager.

Can I move my number from AiSensy to VartaAPI?

Your WhatsApp number can be connected to one provider at a time. To switch, you disconnect it from the old provider and connect it to VartaAPI through Meta's sign-up window. Templates are tied to your WhatsApp Business Account, so check with Meta and your current provider what moves with the number before you start.

Why is the per-message price different?

Meta publishes one rate card for India: ₹0.8631 for a marketing message and ₹0.115 for utility and authentication, before GST. AiSensy's own pricing page lists ₹1.09 and ₹0.145. VartaAPI does not bill messages: Meta charges your card directly at its own rates.
