Hi Rahul, we have received your payment of ₹12,500 against invoice INV-1042. Thank you.10:42 am

When to send it

As soon as the money reaches your account, so nobody has to call to ask.

Tip: Put the invoice number in the message, not only the amount: two payments of the same amount are easy to mix up.

How to use it in VartaAPI

  1. Open Templates and press Browse the library.
  2. Find “Payment received” and press Use this. The wording and examples fill the form.
  3. Change anything you like (add your business name, a header with an image or document, or buttons), then submit it to Meta for approval.
  4. Once Meta approves it, send it from a campaign, a chatbot flow, the inbox or your own software through the API.

The template builder and the library are on every plan, including Free. Owners and admins of an account can submit templates.

Why it is written this way

Meta reviews every template before it can be sent. This one never starts or ends with a blank, keeps real words between blanks, gives an example for each blank, and sits in the category that matches what it says (utility, because it is about something the customer already did or asked for). Those are the common reasons templates are turned down. Meta still decides; if it refuses, VartaAPI shows the reason in plain words.

What it costs to send

Meta charges per delivered template message and bills you directly. In India a utility message costs ₹0.115 before GST. VartaAPI adds nothing per message; see WhatsApp API pricing in India.

Questions

Quick answers.

Is this payment received template free to use?
Yes. Copy the wording, or load it into VartaAPI's template form from the library and change it to suit your business. VartaAPI's template builder and library are on every plan, including Free.
Will Meta approve it?
Meta reviews every template and decides. This one is written to Meta's guidance: it does not start or end with a blank, no two blanks sit side by side, each blank has a believable example, and its category matches what it says. If Meta rejects it, VartaAPI shows Meta's reason so you can fix and resubmit.
Why is it a utility template?
It tells a customer about something they already did or asked for: an order, a payment, an appointment. That is what Meta calls utility. Filing it as marketing would cost more per message and can lead to rejection.
What does sending it cost?
Meta charges per message and bills you directly. In India a utility message costs ₹0.115 before GST. VartaAPI adds nothing per message.
