A day after a good purchase or visit, while the experience is fresh.

Tip: Ask happy customers only. A review request to someone with a complaint usually gets a bad review.

How to use it in VartaAPI

  1. Open Templates and press Browse the library.
  2. Find “Ask for a Google review” and press Use this. The wording and examples fill the form.
  3. Change anything you like (add your business name, a header with an image or document, or buttons), then submit it to Meta for approval.
  4. Once Meta approves it, send it from a campaign, a chatbot flow, the inbox or your own software through the API.

Why it is written this way

Meta reviews every template before it can be sent. This one never starts or ends with a blank, keeps real words between blanks, gives an example for each blank, and sits in the category that matches what it says (marketing, because it promotes something). Those are the common reasons templates are turned down. Meta still decides; if it refuses, VartaAPI shows the reason in plain words.
